Kristina Cechova is a recruiter, writer, and editor from Charlottesville, Virginia. Originally from Bratislava, Slovakia, she is a dual citizen who has spent time in New York City, Paris, and San Francisco.
She is also a member of the Charlottesville Writer House’s YA Writer’s Group, and is working on a science fiction novel and several short stories.
Kristina’s passion for writing and editing have allowed her to enjoy a “side hustle” freelancing career since 2022. In her full-time work as a recruiter, Kristina has partnered with hundreds of tech start-ups in the US and abroad. Inspired by her work with industry leaders in the tech space, Kristina is currently pursuing a career change from recruitment to data science!
